Work Undertaken

Types of work we undertake range from additional sockets to complete electrical refurbishments of hotels; we also offer electrical installation testing and inspections and electrical maintenance.

  Refit or alterations we offer the full electrical service including CAT 2 lighting, dado/skirting trunking systems etc.
   

• COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL
  Lighting, 3 Phase power, relocation of machinery, expansion or new installations, also maintenance work.
   

• RETAIL OUTLETS
  If you just require additional lighting or complete electrical refurbishment we can complete most works out of business hours avoiding unnecessary loss of trade.
   

• FIRE ALARMS & EMERGENCY LIGHTING
  We offer a free design service in association with a leading manufacture, all we ask for in return is the opportunity to submit a competitive quote.
   

• HEATING
  Repair, design and installation of electrical heating systems.

• DOMESTIC INSTALLATIONS
  Test and Inspection of your existing electrical installation or pre-purchase property inspections.

Price Guide

Listed below is a price guide to help you decide if you are still tempted to go to your local DIY superstore, purchase the materials required and attempt it yourself. But please remember without expert Knowledge electricity is hazardous and can be fatal.

• Extra Power Points
  Generally the first socket costs the most and once the floor boards are up and relevant wiring located the cost per extra socket is reduced, so if you want one additional socket in a place where there are no existing sockets then look to spend about £80.00

• Extra Lights
  Expect to spend about £55.00 per light point.
   

• PIR Security Lighting
  These can be wired and installed from £100 - Cheaper if you have your own light fitting.
   

• Consumer Unit (Fuse Box) Replacement
  This can be a fairly major operation and cost upwards of £150.00 to £230.00 for larger homes.
   

• Rewiring
  Very dependent on the size of property and the number of sockets and lights required but to give you a rough idea of cost a small one bedroom house would cost around £950.00, a three bedroom semi around £1400.00 and a large detached house around £2200.00.
   

• Electrical Inspection
  Inspection on a property that you are considering to purchase, with a report of faults found and recommendations to correct installation to current IEE regulations. From £90.00.
