'MOTHERING SUNDAY'

March 25th 2001...  A day I really didn't want to have to wake up to, but knew I would have to, so decided to get through it as best as possible for our other two children...

I remember waking up this morning ~ crying from my sleep...  The day was busy with visiting Andrew's mum and my mum and spending time with our children...

We had been out earlier in the week, buying beautiful gifts for Jack...  One of the gifts was a beautiful 'grey Beanie Teddy Bear' ~ with the words, 'From Me To You' hand stitched on his little paw...  The teddy was expressing the feeling, 'I Miss You'.  He holds a pretty white hankie with red hearts in his right paw close to his eyes...  It is beautiful...

My 'teddy' is the one on the right ~ Andrews is the one on the left holding the 'rose'!

They are both taking care of Our Jack...

(In this photo you can just see Jack's little 'beanie' on the top shelf next to all of his other precious little bears)...

Another little gift we bought in the same design as the Teddy Bear was a key-ring which came in two halves...  One half says 'Together' and the other 'Forever'...  Jack has one half with him and the other is held close to me...

We also bought Jack a beautiful red rose which we sat in 'His Place' and watched as it opened and bloomed...

I spent the day with my children, then later on I dedicated some special time for just myself and Jack, a wonderful few hours sitting with my memories and going through Jack's web site...  I carefully placed Jack's gifts in 'his place' with him, gave him his 'card' and a poem I wrote and with a lump in my throat, I let the tears fall...
