'JACK'S WEBSITE' Well, where do I start... The response we have had to our angels website has been astounding... As of today, May 14th 2001, Jack has had exactly 516 visitors to his site.. June 30th 2001 ~ 692 Visitors to date... July 27th 2001 ~ 733 Visitors to date... January 18th 2002 ~ 895 Visitors to date... April 9th 2002 ~ 1021 Visitors to date... September 2002 ~ Over 2000 Visitors to date... January 5th 2003 ~ Over 2800 visitors to date... We have had an enormous amount of e-mails sent to us, each one so personal and heartfelt... Many people who emailed us have explained that our Jack's site has helped them in their own way ~ to help cope with their own grief and sadness ~ through their own loss of their child... It is heartbreaking to know that there are so many people out there who have had to cope with this devastating loss... If Jack's page can bring some sort of comfort to just one, some or all who visit it ~ then we know in our hearts ~ we have been blessed... for Jack's memory will live on and on forever ~ in a place where our family and friends can come and visit whenever they wish and for others who have experienced this pain, to gain some comfort from within... Andrew and I would like to Thank each and every one of you who has taken the time to visit our Jack and to everyone who has signed Jack's guest~book and left the most beautiful comments for us to read... For each e-mail we received, we Thank~You... POTTERS SYNDROME WEBRING We are also pleased to add that on the 27th April, Jack's website was submitted to join the Potters Syndrome Webring... We feel comforted to know that Jack's site is up there along with all the other beautiful little angels... Please take the time to go and visit these most precious little angels... I have read each and every one on this webring many, many times, and each time it breaks my heart, and now, since losing our own most precious little baby to a variation of this most terrible, terrible syndrome, I understand their pain even more so... Our love and thoughts to everyone on the webring... OUR FEELINGS Well, it has now been 22 weeks and 1 day since our sweet angel went to Heaven and it feels like yesterday... The heartache is indescribable and words can not express how much we miss our baby Jack... We have always lit a candle for Jack, every day, since he went to God's arms and on each monthly anniversary ~ we buy a beautiful red rose ~ which we sit in 'Jack's Place' and watch as it opens and blooms... Andrew bought a beautiful gift for Jack last week, it was a Winnie~the~pooh 'beanie' ~ he has the most beautiful 'angel wings' and halo... This is with Jack in 'His Place'...
We had an email from a dear friend whom I met over the internet through Jack's website, and she wrote something which will remain in our hearts forever... She said ~ "I know you will never forget and time will probably not be a healer but perhaps, hopefully, maybe, one day, you will be able to live with the pain"... Shirley, we will remember these words... Thank~You... xxxxxxxxxx Sophie and Ben are coping really well... Ben talks of Jack so much and misses him in his own little way, and Sophie tries hard to handle her sadness in the only way that I feel a little 10 year old can do... She writes and draws for Jack the most beautiful poems and pictures, all which are treasured with Jack, in 'His Place'... We all have our days when the tears fall at random and that lump in your throat gets bigger... We just make sure that we are always there for each other... DAVID PACKARD To David, our heartfelt Thanks to you... You gave so much of your precious & valuable time, teaching me all about the 'Internet' and how I go about uploading Jack's Website to the Web... I could never of done this without you! Your time and help over these past few weeks will be remembered always... You made our Jack's website become 'real' ~ and we will be eternally grateful... Love and Wishes xxxxxxxxx |
