We had decided to go down to the 'pier' again so that the children could have another day on the rides... It was a beautiful day, Thursday 19th July and just perfect for us to release a balloon for Jack! We stopped off at a pretty little shop on the 'seafront' where I saw some balloons outside! I ventured in and came across a choice of balloons which I knew was going to make my decision very difficult indeed! There was every kind here, from 'Disney characters' to 'Teletubbies'! I decided to speak with the owner of the shop and explain what we wanted the balloon for and we went through everything they had in stock, until I mentioned that 'Winnie-the-Pooh' held great memories for us and Our Jack, and so the choice was made! We found a beautiful '3D head of Winnie-the-Pooh'... The lady filled it with helium and I left the shop with tears falling! As I walked to the car, I saw Sophie & Bens faces 'light up' when they saw Jack's balloon! They loved it!
We drove down to the pier and kindly asked someone to take a photo of us all with Jack's balloon... We had chosen for it to be taken by the 'Snail' ride which Sophie & Ben loved to go on! The first photo with 'all of us' together with Jack's balloon...

Although we had Our Precious Angel on holiday with us, it was still so comforting to release 'his balloon'... Doing this as a family on these special occasions brings so much closeness to us all... We know that Sophie & Ben gain so much from this too... They talk about it for ever afterwards, and it was only the following day after we had released Jack's balloon this time, that Ben looked up to me and said... "Mummy, do you think Jack liked his Winnie balloon"? 'Bless him'!
On Jack's balloon we also sent a 'tag' on which we wrote~ "WE LOVE YOU JACK" Whoever finds Jack's balloon, please visit his website at ... and please email us to let us know who you are! This balloon has been released in the memory of Our Precious Little Angel.
