Our New Heavenly Angel has 'arrived'!

'Samuel~Jack'

** Well, our new little baby boy, 'Samuel~Jack' was born 'at home', one  week early on February 26th 2002* *  

Samuel~Jack weighed 7lbs 2 1/2oz...  

He was born at 1.35pm, and left 'earth for heaven' just 30 very short minutes later at 2.05pm...

He had so much dark, curly hair, and looked just like his 'angel brother Jack'...

Samuel 'cried' as soon as he was born, and until he left for heaven...  His cries will be heard in our memories, 'forever'...

Most babies with ARPKD are born around 30 weeks onwards.  Our angel Jack was 40 weeks and one day, and Our angel Samuel was 39 weeks...

It was 7 months after losing our most sweet precious little angel Jack, that Andrew and I knew in our hearts that we had to try again, just one more time, for another little baby...  Losing our Jack was the most heart rending and devastating time in our lives that we have ever had to experience...

We saw our specialists, took advice and believed in our hearts that this could never happen to us again.  We were told that it would be like being 'struck by a bolt of lightening twice'...

It was on my Birthday last year, June 28th 2001 that we had the most wonderful news that we were carrying another little life inside of me...

We had early scans and regular scans and then the 19 week scan on October 3rd which was the one which would be telling us if all was ok...

Devastatingly, the look on our sonographers face and our specialists 'tone' of voice, we just 'knew'... 

 **This new little life that I was carrying inside had exactly the same disorder as our Jack had**

Our hearts are broken once again, total and utter disbelief in the knowing that we were going to lose our next sweet baby at birth...  We sometimes sit and wonder at how cruel our world is that we live in, and cannot make any understanding of it all...

Our life and all of its hopes were taken away from us the day we lost Our Precious Jack,

...it has now been taken away from us once more!
