'Safe in the arms of his Auntie Jackie'

'Just 2 hours old' ~ Having a cuddle with his auntie...

It was the early hours of Monday 27th November 2000 ~ about 1.30am when we called Andrews sister to ask her if she would come and take care of our children ~ Sophie & Ben for us...

*Labour had started*

Jackie soon arrived with Andrews mum Cynthia, we talked, said our goodbyes and left for the hospital...

Later that afternoon, when our sweet baby Jack was born, Jackie, Cynthia and our daughter Sophie came to the hospital to meet 'Our Angel'...

The sadness and pain we all felt, obviously goes without saying...(the photos can tell our story alone) ~ but Andrew and I would dearly love to send our thanks to Jackie for being so strong for us ~ when we knew how much you were hurting too...

Seeing you hold our sweet angel ~ your nephew in your arms, giving him all the love you had, will remain in our hearts and minds forever...

You were so supportive in every way, making sure our children were looked after, making phone calls to family and friends, making sure everything we needed we had and most of all ~ just being there when we needed you...

You stayed with us in the hospital until a few hours later when we all came 'home' with Jack...   You were there all the time, taking care of us all and giving Jack all the love and cuddles that an 'auntie could give'...
