~ Ending of Sam's Day ~

~ Lynda's Departure ~

...After we had released all of our Sam's Balloons & drew the Winning Raffle Ticket for our 'Virgin Hot Air Balloon Flight', it was time to make a move from the beach...

We spoke with our family & friends, then slowly made our way back to our cars, feeling quite 'empty' inside, now that everything we had been planning and organising had actually taken place for our Sam...

Very emotional was the leave from the beach, we spoke with my Midwife Julie who came to celebrate Sam's Day with us, and I thanked her once again for everything that she had done for us with both of our precious little boys, Jack and Sam...

When everyone had departed, Andrew, myself, Lynda and our children knew that we only had a few hours left together before Lynda had to prepare for her long drive back home to Yorkshire...

We all decided to go to McDonalds and let the children spend a little more time together before Lynda had to leave...

It was so surreal, there we were, sitting in the McDonalds that Andrew and I go to often with the children, but this time with our special friend Lynda and her children...  This was the lady that I had only ever dreamed of meeting up with...  'Correspondence on the Internet', 'phone calls on the land line', letters through the 'Postal System', and now here we were, all together, on our very special day  :)

It was so wonderful...  We ate in McDonalds then made our way back to our home where we would be spending just another hour or so together, knowing that Lynda had to soon make that drive back home...

We arrived back home and spent the last time together taking photos and trying to say everything to each other that we wanted to...

Lynda bought her photos of her precious little angel Elliott for us to see and we also showed her the many other photos that we have of our Jack and our Sam that we haven't added to our website...

At this time in Lynda's life she was temporarily without a PC at home, and I know how dearly she missed spending time with her little angel on his Website that I created for her, so the most important thing was for Lynda to log on using my PC and spend some time with 'Elliott'...

The photo below is of just that, Lynda sitting at my desk, spending time with her precious little angel...

We spent the remaining time that we had together, talking and taking photos...  I couldn't take enough, I wanted so many, I wanted this day captured on film, every second of it, as every second of it was so precious to us...

The photos below are of all of us, spending the afternoon together, shortly before Lynda's Departure...
