*Sponsorship money raised*

Throughout the months leading up to our Jack's 1st Heavenly Birthday, we decided to raise some sponsorship money to say 'Thank you' to our Midwifery Team for all of their dedicated care throughout the Pregnancy & Birth of our Jack and for remaining close in our lives this past year, and also for Our Vicar Chris Newlands and his Church for supporting us when our Jack left Earth for Heaven, and for being there for us, always...

In total, we raised a staggering £1000 donating:~

£500 to the Iceni Midwifery Team

£500 All Saints Church

Here is a photo of all of us together on Mersea Beach, with Sophie and Ben and all of Jack's cousins holding their balloons, with our Midwives Lisbeth & Julie and our Vicar Chris Newlands receiving the cheques for £500 each...

This is the same photograph that was printed in our local newspapers with coverage of Jack's special day...

*How we raised the money*

We sponsored Jack's balloons for £1.00 each and gave sponsorship forms to family & friends to try and raise as much money as possible...

Andrew took forms to work where his brothers Dean & Barry work also, and asked his customers for their support for us...  The customers of  *Rexel Senate Electrical* at Colchester helped raise over £350 which was amazing...

Jack's auntie Jane and her sister Claire took forms to their work places also and raised a wonderful amount of money from their work colleagues...

Sophie & Ben baked some cakes and sold them at Sophie's school to her Teachers & class friends, as did Jack's cousins Kerri, Nicole and Ryan who also did  'how many sweets in the jar' for a week at school and raised an absolutely wonderful amount of money doing so...

Jack's other cousins, Jamie, Sophie & Shannon, Rochelle, Crystelle & Chantelle raised money by asking their school friends also to sponsor a balloon...

Jack's Aunties and Uncles and Nanas and Grandad rallied round and raised so much more money between them, that when we started to 'call in' the sponsorship money a few days before, it was a total shock to us of how hard everyone had worked to raise as much money as possible...

Our Vicar Chris with our Midwives Lisbeth & Julie holding their cheques...

I will update this page again when we know for definate what has been bought with the money from our Midwives, but we know that it will have a little plaque on it with our Jack's name, in his memory...

Our Vicar Chris is possibly going to buy a 'Silver Candle Holder' for his Church which is something they have always wished for & our Midwives are planning to buy a Scanner' ~ especially for use in 'Water~Births'...

Chris, Lisbeth & Julie...

I would like to say a Thank~You here to everyone who helped us raise this wonderful amount of money for such a good cause...  We never believed it possible to raise such a huge amount of money and our Thanks goes out to each and every one of you...
