This page is dedicated to Beverley and her daughter Georgina and their wonderful Balloons... A few months prior to Jack's Special Day, I wrote many emails to companies all over the country asking if anyone would be able to help us in arranging our Jack's Balloon release... We had some wonderful replies, but chose 'Beverleys Balloons' as they were based in Ipswich, just a short drive from us and Beverley said she would really like to provide the balloons for Jack's Day... Throughout the coming weeks up to Jack's special day, there was a lot of arranging to be done and Beverley came and visited us at home, where we expressed our wishes of what colours we would like, what 'time' the release would be happening, whereabouts on the beach we would like the balloons released and all details for the day...
On the day itself, Beverley arrived at Mersea Beach early in the morning with her daughter and a member of her staff who wanted to help on Jack's Day too... Whilst we were having Jack's service in the Church, Beverley was making the preparations for the release... They filled the 500 balloons with helium and placed them in release nets ready for our arrival on the beach... When ourselves and family and friends reached the beach, Beverley handed out a blue balloon to everyone who wrote out a tag to Jack and attached it... When it was nearing the time, everyone made their way down to the sand, ready for the release... At exactly 1.50pm, the first 250 balloons were released... It was such an amazing sight, this was followed by everyone's single blue balloons, then the final 250 balloons at 1.55pm... It really was a beautiful gift to Jack, to see all those balloons leaving Earth for Heaven, a memory which will never fade in our minds...
